My Wifes First Lesbeen Movie

RECORDS REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION: The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart (2009) Progress

Another prodigious debut . These guys Yorkers (what is going on there lately that leave so many good bands to kick?) Does not bring anything new, but its execution is perfect and eighties pop sound is perfectly achieved. Precisely what we will find is a combination of dream pop and noise pop very 80's and early 90's, and much shoegaze . Say sound very similar to The Jesus And Mary Chain , My Bloody Valentine , Ride and The Cure brightest and pop, and although they may seem very obvious similarities are absolutely no plagiarism, because have achieved a mature album, very fresh, with its own identity and able to make long-forgotten sensations. One of the best albums of 2009 and in recent times, no doubt. To my taste the best band in the resurgence of shoegaze that is occurring in Recently, well above Glasvegas and The Big Pink, among others.

Although the lyrics of their songs relate to the teen love at all is an album by a teenager, but we transmitted some of their values \u200b\u200bsuch as happiness, energy and luminosity. It is ultimately one of those discs able to get the batteries, cheering, to make you smile, dream and insuflarte optimism. And that is a lot. 35 minutes without a break, carte blanche to dream.

Let your subjects:
1. Contender : sounds to The Jesus And Mary Chain, with a very powerful base shoegaze distortion.
2. Come Saturday : noise pop powerful theme, apparent optimism in spades. The female vocals of keyboardist give a plus to the topic.
3. Young Adult Friction : the disc and hit the most famous track. The pop cutting across the disk, where the shoegaze absent. Again the female vocals are great. A pop delight long time no hear, also exudes optimism from every pore, you draw a smile.
4. This Love Is Fucking Right! : the other great pop song of the album, following in the footsteps of Young Adult Friction, but more catchy and hummable. Shoegaze returns, but low intensity.
5. The Tenure Itch : very 80's, it sounds again very The Jesus And The Mary Chain. Catchy, but such time is the darkest track on the album.
6. Stay Alive : For me, the best song on the album. Dream totally dreamy pop ballad, reminds me of The Cure's Pictures Of You but with more pace. A wonder that you do not tire of listening.
7. Everything With You : energetic noise pop track, the distorted guitar riffs are crudely to a song that had courses of sweetened too. Great melody.
8. A Teenager In Love : the album's weakest. Very 70's Pop, pastries and too flowerpower for my taste. Of keyboards and acoustic guitar.
9. Hey Paul : Short issue just 2 minutes' duration, which again returns the shoegaze and energy. The spirit of My Bloody Valentine is present.
10. Gentle Sons : excellent final drive, one of the issues in case of this album. Undoubtedly, the shoegaze song, loud and energetic the whole length, but does not remain just that, your pop melody is addictive.

FINAL NOTE: 8.5.

Eye Exercise For Ptosis

" The Night Before ", the new mini album of James

followers
James 're in luck. The April 19 will be released his new work "The Night Before ", this time a mini album or EP (call it whatever you want) that contain a total of 7 tracks. But the good news does not end there, next month begin a world tour ( The Mirrorball Tour ) which currently only have confirmed dates in the UK, Greece and some verianiego festival. Hopefully not forget us when confirm the remaining European dates. But to top it off, later this year will release another mini album or EP that will complement the "The Night Before."

For the more impatient, and you can listen to 5 tracks found on "The Night Before ." Of Manchester's new tracks do not disappoint with pop / rock and dreamy fantasy. To be part of an EP, none of them weakens, namely all It's Hot, Crazy , Ten Bellow, Dr Hellier and Porcupine point very good manners. For those who thought that this EP would be a story, it seems to go very wrong because the level we see in these songs is the same high bar that left with their fantastic new album "Hey Ma " (2008).

Small White Spots On Gums

RECORDS REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION: The XX - XX (2009)

Great debut of the 4 pipiolos London with a pint of "weirdos" pulling back. But leaving bands appearances, have made a product developed, mature, elegant and subtle improper about kids who just turned 20 years old. A marvel to be enjoyed in peace. This album has been a revelation in the list of the best albums of 2009, while present at the top of all the major lists. Disco

vocally impeccable with the duality of the beautiful, whispered, suggestive, velvety female voice Madley Romy and more serious male voice and guitarist Oliver Sim. We find post-punk tracks close mostly and almost ambient chill-out , dark, hypnotic, minimalist and elegant, with ethnic and mystical air, very low light electronic arrangements and simple melodies on guitar basically all taps. A discovery, however, for those who want cane this is definitely not your group. Let

His themes:
1. Intro: instrumental introduction fantastic oriental air. The best of the disc.
2. VCR : song whispered by Romy Madley and Oliver Sim, very powerful bass and a nice melody xylophone.
3. Crystalised : the most famous theme of the album. Post-punk theme very dark but the liveliest of the disc, where again the voices of Romy and Oliver are a lot of play. Simple but effective guitar riffs that will inscrescendo. Has been the subject of many remixes making it accessible to the dance floor.
4. Islands : relaxed theme with elegant guitar riffs and subtle percussion that gives a much faster pace chill-out. To define it, supreme elegance.
5. Heart Skipped A Beat : again the game of voices from Romy and Oliver is the key of the song, on another smooth guitar riffs and a subtle role of a drum machine. Quiet, but in the end is encouraged.
6. Fantasy : undoubtedly, the most experimental album. Dark, mysterious and air space, makes this short track bridge in the middle of the disc. Only issue Sim Oliver sings solo with much use of reverb , although it is more spoken than sung. The most expendable item on the disc.
7. Shelter : Another elegant theme, which is unique that is also the only track that sings solo Romy Madley, in a magnificent performance and suggestive. Like Islands, but more mystical and sinister air. Very reminiscent of the best tracks from Bat For Lashes .
8. Basic Space : electronic percussion air are clear ethnic protagonists of this issue, more than an extraordinary power of the bass. Very chill-out, again the game is amazing voices.
9. Infinity: The longest track on the album with more than 5 minutes. Quiet and nice, but very dark ballad, another quiet and haunting guitar riffs. Again electronic percussion resurfaces. The vocals of Oliver is very reminiscent of Chris Isaak .
10. Night Time : personally, the best song on the album and more lively with Crystalised. Again, conjure the elegance of another beautiful guitar riffs which guesses an almost imperceptible touch funk, gentle percussion that gives a rhythm addictive, and a chill-out room sleek and elegant. A delicatessen, which gives a light touch to the album but not out of the darkness.
11. Stars : quiet epilogue with a starring role of low and light touches of piano. Velvet voices accompany us to the final a nice way.

FINAL NOTE: 8.5.

Volvo S40how To Remove

RECORDS REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION: Local Natives - Gorilla Manor (2009)

Mother, what great album! I could not stop repeating it after listening for the first time, and now that I have several / many listeners perception that has only corroborated. Eager for new sensations, I dropped by Pitchfork , that dreaded American site which is only appropriate as gafapasta , rare and most indie indie into the World despite the redundancy. Diving between reviews rare highlight this disc. And I thought, why not let me prejudice and taste? Blessed success, because this is one of those albums that get you back the faith in music when you're tired of hearing about the same thing and have already lost almost all hope to hear something new that surprises you. In short, the best I've ever heard in a long long time.

What Local Natives they sound? Afroindie callers. It is definitely indie pop / rock with a touch of ethnic, tribal, African percussion, all accompanied by folk, psychedelia, string arrangements, a wonderful voice and a dreamy chorus. If you look like say that to me look like Grizzly Bear sobrevaloradísimos or infumables Vampire Weekend, but reading these comparisons is a lack of respect for these guys. Because the great album debut that have been marked is downright impressive, and also has the virtue that goes very well from the first listen and then does not decay with successive. I'm not going to cheat, they are rare, but have managed to create a wonderful style where sensitivity, optimism, light, powerful and excellent percussion, epic pace, minimalism, mysticism and production elaboradísima merge into a unique product where nothing is superfluous and strange as it seems to have foot and head. Fusion is the word that best define this wonderful disc.

The beginning of the album is so spectacular and in the top 5 songs gives you the feeling that every subject that is surpassing the previous listen. The pity is that by the end of the album falls a little, but after all nothing serious and totally understandable. Let your subjects:
1. Eyes Wide : excellent start of the disk with a big final crescendo.
2. Airplanes : really beautiful, with excellent vocals. It is the single disc presentation.
3. Sun Hands : addictive percussion and bossa nova with touches of fresh tune.
4. World News : most folk on the disc, by the way reminds me of the brilliant and rare Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
5. Shape Shifter : another great crescendo, beautiful home on the piano and excellent voice. When it bursts, is an epic, dramatic light and grandeur. My favorite album.
6. Camera Talk : strange wonderful fusion of reggae in the style of Bob Marley and the Arcade Fire indie folk.
7. Cards & Quarters : calm air track with R & B and hip-hop.
8. Warning Sign : curious cover of the issue of Talking Heads.
9. Who Knows Who Cares : fusion of pop and soul.
10. Cubism Dream, also fusion of pop and soul, in this case also touches bossanova.
11. Stranger Things : Subject quiet, with excellent guitar and string arrangements.
12. Sticky Thread : perhaps the weakest track on the disc, begins well but eventually gradually diluted.

FINAL NOTE: 9'25.
