British singer / drummer Phil Collins today denied his definitive retirement from the stage and makes clear that only a "pause" in his career.

"None of that is true," Collins wrote today on his website, referring to the news reported that recent days had definitely moved away from the scene.

On the contrary, the former drummer of the band Genesis UK said: "But I pause as a parent to care full time and every day, my two young children."

The uproar is due to an interview that the musician gave the British magazine FHM and would go on sale in April. According

press leaks that interview showed Collins tired of their profession by their health problems and lack of recognition of their colleagues, reported DPA.

"I make a mysterious motorcycle trip and never returned. It would be a great end of story, right?" Said the musician in the course of the conversation according to the magazine.

In the same interview, referring to the music business, Collins reportedly said: "Actually I do not belong to this world. Do not think anyone will miss me."
